The Scheme is to encourage the responsible persons (RPs) for lifts to enhance the safety level, reliability and comfortability of existing lifts through modernisation measures.

To give recognition to RPs for lifts who meet the criteria set by the Scheme as encouragement.  R.P.H.M. was selected as one of only 4 professionals to be qualified as an Independent Professional Assessor (IPA).
