HMRB was invited to the "Recognition of Prior Learning" New Chapter Launching Ceremony and Served as Supporting Ceremony Guest
The Housing Managers Registration Board (HMRB) was invited to attend the "Recognition of Prior Learning" New Chapter Launching Ceremony, jointly organized by HKU SPACE and the Qualifications Framework Secretariat of the Education Bureau on 9 July 2026. HMRB was deeply honored to participate in this grand event and serve as a supporting ceremony guest, witnessing this significant milestone for the industry alongside fellow professionals.
The "Recognition of Prior Learning" (RPL) mechanism under the Qualifications Framework aims to recognize the work experience, knowledge, and skills accumulated by practitioners in the workplace. This mechanism enables industry professionals to obtain QF-recognized qualifications, thereby enhancing their advancement opportunities in both learning and career development.
HKU SPACE has served as the RPL Assessment Agency for the security services industry since 2021. It has officially expanded its scope of services to also provide RPL assessment services for the property management industry starting from 1 July 2026. This event aimed to continuously promote the mechanism, share the latest updates, and foster deep exchange among the industry.
HMRB fully supports initiatives that elevate the professional standards of the industry as always, and looks forward to working hand-in-hand with all stakeholders to encourage practitioners to acquire recognized qualifications and practice lifelong learning.
